He was made by a teddy bear designer who went under the design name of Kaleb- known for her very large bears in the early 80's.

He is a whopping 24" of quality German long white mohair. This guy is nearly 30 years old. He wears a pair of bib overalls with matching baseball cap. He is fully jointed. He has his tush tag- An Original by Kaleb Designs. He is a OOAK (one of a kind) bear.

Lisa

A Linda Spiegel bear from Bearly There, Inc. This little girl bear is 16 inches tall, is fully jointed, has blonde fur & is pellet filled.

She is wearing a pink and white striped dress and short white pantaloons. She wears a pink bow on her head and has pink-rimmed glasses, white bobby sox and black Mary Jane shoes. Lisa has long legs, which she can swing from a chair or bench. So cute! Looks so studious- is capable of being so mischievous.

She has all her tags. Her dress is also signed by the artist (Linda Speigel-Lohre).

Jelly Bean Bag Bear-

Cuddly member of the Rosenbear Bear Collection- Made and designed by teddy bear artist- Gloria Rosenbaun. Her right paw is signed by the artist and dated- 1989 (signature is faded but legible).

She has very dense, wavy light brown mohair, with leather paw pads. Fully jointed. 12" tall.

She wears a white crocheted collar with a pink and green bow, embellished with a porcelain rose - she has a silk flower on her left ear.

This little bear comes with a booklet that tells her story and certifies her as #65-A of series Jelly Bean Bag Bear. Rosenbear Designs 1984.

Andrew OOAK Bear

What makes Andrew so darling is his lovable face-he has a shaved muzzle and a very expressive face, wearing a somewhat mischevious expression. He has his tush tag and artist tag, with his name and description and date he was made (1994)

Very dense, wavy, auburn colored mohair. He is fully jointed, has glass eyes and a hand stitiched nose. He is poly-pellet filled. He has suede paw pads, with the artist's name handwritten on his left paw. Has the back hump. 20" tall.

He is a one of a kind (OOAK) bear.

Note: This is a vintage Karen Mayer bear. Not from the new collections of mini and smaller bears made with simulated mohair. This is from "The Bears of Two Sisters" (and not from the Barton's Creek Collection or the bears designed by Karen,but made by Gund). Andrew is made by the artist and signed by the artist.

Vintage Collection Bear- OOAK

This darling bear is from the 1996 Vintage Collection. Each bear in the vintage collection is OOAK (One of a Kind) and wears a vintage dress.

She is made from feathered mohair and has german glass eyes. She is poly/pellet filled and is 22" tall.

She is wearing vintage clothing and jewelry- white linen baby gown with red velvet bow and a large blue and crystal vintage pin. Very huggable bear. Clothing is removable, but I have never removed them (except the outer gown for a picture and both gowns for the "naked" picture). Her limbs are fairly long- she has "knees" and "elbows".

She has tush tag reading" Barbie's Bears 1996 Collection". She also has her Barbie's Bears tag tied with a ribbon around her wrist.

This Limited Edition Bear was hand made by well known German teddy bear artist, Johanna Haida. A 7" tall light brown mohair bear. Firmly stuffed. Fully jointed. Regina Brock Cinnamon Bear. 1987.

VERY RARE AND DIFFICULT TO FIND

This is one of Regina Brock's earlier bears in which she used a process of weaving raw roving mohair onto linen- very time-consuming and difficult. This method has been discontinued.

This is a OOAK (One of a Kind) Bear.

Rich cinnamon mohair. Glass eyes, hand stitched nose. 14" tall.

He has a woven linen tag sewn into his neck:" R. Brock 1987" on top side and (July 22, 1987" on bottom. Regina Brock is no longer making bears (although she tends to "sick" bears)- thus making her bears hard to come by.

Made of dense curly honey colored mohair. He has shaved muzzle and the cutest big ears. How expressive he is! Emery is a very substantial, big bear.

He is 20" tall and very, very heavy. He has bent knees. His paw carries the hand signature of the artist, with the year (1994). He is # 1 from that year. He has the Gilmur Rudley hang tag and the wooden disk with his name and year with the designation that he is # 1 from the year. He also has the sewn in tush tag . He has an antiqued brass bell around his neck, as well as a cream colored bow. Very nice bear. Very high quality.

This darling little girl bear has long eyelashes! So cute- really is a unique touch She is so irresistible when she bats those eyelashes at you!

She wears a hand crocheted lacy collar with a silk rose detail. Her head is adorned with a pretty pink ribbon with silk rose details. Very feminine bear.

Artist designed collectible teddy bear, by Linda Spiegel-Lohre, of Bearly There, Inc. He is made of light brown mohair, with a shaved muzzle. Shoe button eyes, stitched nose. He has the hump on his back, reminiscent of early teddy bears. The artist has also “distressed” the bear to give him a well-loved appearance. He has areas of stitching and patching, which are deliberate and part of the design. Very cute effect. It makes him a very sweet, lovable bear. He is 8 ½” tall.

"Hello, my name is Hailey and I saw that one of the bears that you have for sale, was made by my mother, Regina Brock of Ravenna, Ohio. I was really excited to see that people still love her bears. I was a little girl, when she began the process and I can tell you in great detail how they were created. She used to dye the mohair and it would hang from the curtain rod of our bath tub to dry, I

always thought it was really funny as a little girl! Because of my mom's wonderful ability, as a child I have gotten to handle some the world's most famous vintage steiffs and I have felt

very blessed to have her as my mother......

Thank you so much for your reply. I spoke with my mother this morning. At the time that the bear was made in the 1980's, it was sold for nearly $2,000.00. My mother's intention was not that the bear was a toy, but an actual "art piece." At the time that she made it, raw mohair was very scarce to find and next to no one used the method that she used to make mohair bears. The mohair was raw and without color, so in order to create a "cinammon" colored bear, it required quite a bit of talent to mix fabric dyes and properly dye the hair just the right tint. She would take the raw mohair and mix it in large pots on our stove and let it "cook" over the heat so to speak. Then it had to drip dry. It WAS extremely time consuming, it took months to complete the bear, sewing small strands of mohair, one at a time."
